UPDATE: Valve has stated that Half-Life 2 Episode 3 will not be shown at this year's E3. Sorry for the confusion!

In Half-Life 2, players led Gordon Freeman on adventure to free the world from the brutal grip of the Combine, a massive military force from another dimension. Following his success in defeating the Combine's hold on City 17, Half-Life 2: Episode One follows Freeman and his ally Alyx Vance as they escape from the crumbling metropolis. The saga continues in Episode Two, wherein Freeman and Alyx make their way across the Combine-controlled wilderness as they try to meet up with fellow resistance forces. The upcoming Episode Three will complete the tale, as Freeman and Alyx continue to bring the fight to the Combine.
